(9/30/07) Generally, I am led to understand that it is not a good idea to talk to much at length about writing projects that are in the conceptual stage. I agree with this but I have so many ideas in my head that I want to lock one down as the next project in order to be able to focus on it.

The thing that is getting me excited right now is this idea about a war between self-help gurus. Think Deepak Chopra, Dr. Phil, Anthony Robbins, but driving around in bulletproof limos, surrounded by bodyguards, spies in each others camps, attempted hits during seminars. In the midst of this conflict, a new star rises, with a radical new technique, one that threatens to put all the rest down for the count...
